The Fresh 20: Ribeye Steak with Salsa Verde

About a month ago my husband and I signed up for The Fresh 20. If you haven't heard of them, you should definitely check them out. They plan out balanced, family-friendly meals for the week and promise to keep to a certain budget. My husband does most - ok, all - of the cooking in our house, and as a working dad it's easy to get stuck in a take-out routine. The Fresh 20 solves that problem for us.

Does this look delicious?

Good, keep reading.

Our love story starts with two ribeyes.

My husband added a little grilled batard for class ;)

The story ends in wedded bliss with grilled potatoes and red peppers. I can't tell you the recipe. Not only would I likely be cut off from The Fresh 20, there would be a shortage of the ingredients at the store and I would be very displeased. I can, however, share with you some pictures.

Have I mentioned that food photography is how I deal with being an insanely picky eater? I stopped eating meat years and years ago. Taking pictures of food has helped me come to terms with my food issues and deal with them in a healthy way. Not to toot my own horn but these pictures look delicious, so how could I not eat it?

Please note: I was not hired or asked by The Fresh 20 to write this blog post and/or take these pictures. It just turns out that in addition to being delicious, the recipes are a great muse for me.
