Getting my post up a smidge early this week! This week's theme, fittingly, was "red, white, blue." I had wanted to get a picture of the
flag guy in Leesburg, VA - this guy decks himself out in American flags and rides his bike around town planting them everywhere. All year. It's amazing and he is nice as can be. But I couldn't find him!
Good thing I have my own...
I'm sure you've seen plenty of fireworks images, but I still wanted to share a couple of mine from the Fourth...
Thanks for letting me do that.
Next, please hop over to Valerie Rice and check out her "red, white, blue" image.
I would love to see pics of the flag guy! Great fireworks shots. Care to post your settings? Always love to see what folks use to capture them as I think I have done it a different way everytime. we are flooding down here so no fireworks around here. Maybe next year.
ReplyDeleteBoth were taken on my Rebel with Tamron 17-50 lens...top is f/13 ss/8.0 ISO 200 and bottom is f/13 ss/6.0 ISO 200 :)
DeleteThe flag guy sounds great! Love your fireworks shots. They turned out great!
ReplyDeleteOooh those fireworks look so awesome. And I love the flag in the flower pot.
ReplyDeleteLove all your images!! The fireworks images are beautiful. I didn't take any this year and now I wish I would have!!
ReplyDeleteSo festive, love the fireworks. I never get good fireworks shots because I get lost in them like a little kid and forget to shoot!!
